10 Tips to Grow your Younique business

When I joined Younique I completely fell in love with the products and the company. I love direct sales, the freedom it provides me with as a parent and the financial reward is pretty great too!! As I learned more about the company I began to discover the reason I would continue to work my business during the valleys or troughs that all sales people at some point experience in their career. If you've been in this industry for any length of time you know exactly what I'm referring to, but the great news is there are things you can use so you don't have to remain still while everyone else is moving ahead. So here are my ten tips for growing and working your direct sales business.

Tip #1. Find your "why" or your reason for joining the company you're with now and write it down. Go on, grab a piece of paper and a pen and write out why you joined!

Tip #2. Find your upline. If you have a sponsor that's great, if they're still active that's even better but if they're not then reach out to your upline. How do you find them? Contact your company. Direct sales can be simple, it takes the following a company leader(s) and duplicating the actions they took to get to their position. I will not say you won't have to work, but if the path has already been carved out, then go ahead and follow it to the top!
Tip #3. Brand yourself. I see this all the time, people join and they don't let people know about it. How are people supposed to know they can purchase "xyz product" from you if they have no clue you sell it? Please don't sit around and wait for the sales to roll in. Just because you have a website do not think that's going to happen, get out there on social media or whatever he platform you're using and brand yourself! Let your friends and family know about your business, talk about your business and make it to where when people think of your company, they think of you.

Tip #4. Share instead of spam. I know, I just told you to blast your platform with your business right? Well, not exactly...do it the right way. Share about why your product is amazing to you, for me it's makeup, so I will share about what a product does for me and how it makes me feel. Get out of your comfort zone and share yourself with your peeps! Don't always post pic of others, share you!! An example; I would make a post on Facebook or Instagram that's says "I absolutely love how this facial cleanser has helped my skin! Even my husband noticed a difference--I couldn't believe it!" and I share a picture of my face. That's sharing. Spamming is constantly posting "buy this" or "get yours right now" and never sharing why a customer should buy it. Stop and think how your product would benefit your customers and share about it. Also, be sure to be a human on social media and not a spammer who only posts for sale posts!

Tip #5. Make a list of 100 people. You don't know 100 people? That's okay make the longest list you can. Now what? Work that list! Contact each person, start with those you know and reach out to see if they have ever heard of your product. Maybe they would be interested, if not ask for a referral or ask them to host a party so you can expand your customer reach. Next reach out to the others on your list and start getting to know them a little.

Tip #6. Build relationships. You're all ready with your "why" and your list in hand, so now it's time to start having conversations to build relationships. This is the equation, if someone trusts you they will buy from you before they will someone else and if they love what you're selling as much as you did when you purchased it then that person might be the perfect fit for your downline.

Tip #7. Invest in you and invest in your business. If you're not using or have never used whatever you are selling then how can you give your testimony? How can you share the benefits? You must invest in your yourself and your business to build value in your business. Let's say you sell diet supplements. If you've never used them how can you tell if they actually work or not?

Tip #8. Sponsor. I don't really like the word recruit, but yes it's pretty much the same, except for me I feel sponsoring is helping and teaching more than collecting people. How do you sponsor? Use the law of attraction and the three C's. What are those??...Google and YouTube will be your best friends if you allow them to be.

Tip #9. Be consistent. Take action every day, post something about your business everyday, share every single day. This shows those who are watching you that you're serious about this company and you are sticking with it! Did you know people are watching you?? Well you better believe it!! Sometimes people watch you for an entire year before they join you! Keep going, keep posting and stay consistent!!!

Tip #9. Stay positive, keep a super positive mindset Have fun, or at least look like you're having fun! This really isn't a hard business to be in, it's actually simple but there are many actions you can take every single day to reach success. Stop waiting and start doing!!!
